Delivery Info

Delivery Timescales & Availability

All items offered for sale are subject to availability. Should an item be out of stock for any reason we will inform you as soon as possible by either telephone or email. We aim to dispatch orders within 7 days, however some items such as furniture and mirrors can take longer and we ask that you allow up to 14 days for delivery of your order.

Any furniture that requires further finishing in paint or wax will be dispatched within 14-21 days. Should a delay be anticipated, we will of course notify you as soon as possible.

Delivery Charges and Areas

Delivery is currently £4.95 per order, regardless of the number of items in your order and coveres most areas of the United Kingdom (see below for exclusion areas).

PLEASE NOTE Exclusion areas for the £4.95 dleivery charge offer are the Scottish Islands & Highlands, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man & Northern Ireland.

If you are in any doubt, please contact us to check if your order qualifies. If not, we will of course be happy to provide a shipping/delivery quote.

Delivery Method

We use Home Delivery Network for the majority of our deliveries on either a 24 or 48 hour service. This service is a Monday to Friday service and for items weighing more than 3kg requires a signature upon delivery.

Occassionally, for larger items we will use an alternative carrier such as UPS or DHL. You will be notified at the point of dispatch of the delivery method and carrier for your order along with a tracking reference number to allow you to check the status of your delivery on line.

Please ensure you also provide us with a daytime telephone contact number. The carrier services require this to be provided and it helps to ensure contact can be made in the event of a query with your delivery.

Home Delivery Network will also offer the otpion of collection from the depot on production of satisfactory ID if a delivery attempt has failed. For smaller items, we may sometimes use Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery.

Please note, all carriers will make three delivery attempts. At each failed delivery a card will be left with a card reference number which will allow you to re-arrange the delivery either on line or by telephone.

If delivery fails on the third attempt, the item will be returned to ourselves and we will be invoiced by the carrier for the return. We must advise that the return charge will be deducted from any refund along with the outgoing delivery charge of £4.95.

Return charges are currently £10.95 per parcel. In addition, a £10 administration and re-stocking fee will be charged.

Saturday Deliveries can be arranged but will be subject to an additional charge by the carrier.

Deliveries to Europe

We are happy to arrange delivery of most of our items for sale to Europe. Please email us for a quotation at sales@divineinteriorsandgifts.co.uk For larger items we use DHL Europlus Service or similar with full tracking facility or Air Mail Signed For, for smaller items.
